The Studio for Special books opens at 930 for browsing and shopping. This is a smaller room with higher priced special books. The books are each individually priced: antiquarian, first editions, signed, vintage children’s, graphic novels, other vintage books, large art, architecture , nature, books, etc.
All the books have been donated by patrons of the library and people who live nearby.
We have a big sale like this twice a year usually in April and October. We advertise on our website www.friendsofrochambeau.org, local sites and media and www.booksalefinder.com
All books are newly donated to the Friends since the last big sale; i.e. we do not save books from the big room from one sale to the next.
We do not sell ‘ex-library’ books (except for unusual books that might have antiquarian value in the special room collection. )
